as you all know, I have been pushing the limits of what is possible, no longer just as a cancer patient but as a bonafide athlete, and often its scary and lonely. There is no textbook answer for my cancer treatment or the exercise program Ive created to deal with cancer, so many times I feel so lost, and doubt and question myself. But then I think, there was a time when people thought that it was impossible to fly, jump out of a plane (well that is still dumb!), bungee jump, and so many other extreme events. Recently received two mails from two leading cancer researchers, one who wrote a book with Lance Armstrong, that Id like to share as I hope it will inspire you...one said, Wow, what an awesome story. I just saw your story online. You are a wonderful inspiration. I would love to meet you and help you reach your goals, and the other, You may have done more than anyone has ever done as a cancer patient. Ever. I challenge YOU to push yourself further today than you did yesterday and when the data isnt clear what you should do, go with your gut instinct! I love that people are now encouraging me to do just an Ironman during chemo rather than 4,000 miles. 9 months ago people thought I was crazy to do an Ironman during radiation :) we are changing the future of cancer treatment, together, forever! Never Quit!!
