One possible path is to do what Bob Dylan has done several times—destroy them. Veer left when everyone expects you to veer right. Launch something that makes no sense. Reset expectations instead of raising them. Hard to do if youre a public company, but probably worth considering if youre a human intent on making your art. Dont be afraid to try new and unique things, reinvent yourself, push your own limits and others perceived limits of you. Keep it fresh, keep it unique, keep it weird. Dont swim in stagnant waters. Create your own oceans.
