b4 the females were indoctrinated……….. The Mino, also called the Dahomey Amazons, were an all-female military corps in the Kingdom of Dahomey, or modern day Benin. The corps was organized around the year 1730 to hunt elephants and make the Dahomey army look bigger in battle. The women corps fought so courageously that the king of Dahomey soon recruited more women from all over the nation to serve in an expanded women’s army.
