back to basic #10 ----------------------------- ( recitation of Quran ) ---- Abu Umamah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.w.s) saying, Read the Quran, for it will come as an intercessor for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection. [Muslim, book virtue of quran, #1874) * donot restrict oneself to recite or ponder opver quran only in the mothyh of ramadhan. rather open the mushaf daily, read an extract from it, try to memorize it, learn the tafseer. ------------- It was narrated from Aisha that the Messenger of Allah(s.w.s) said: The one who is proficient with the Quran will be with the noble and righteous scribes (the angels), and the one who reads it and stumbles over it, fining it difficult, will have a double reward. (ibn majah)
