bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-26573929 I am not exactly what you called a Bennite but Ive seen him speak twice and he was a lovely old bloke who did care about the British people and wasnt at all a career politician in the sense of clubbing the greasy pole. Right or wrong I admire his genuine lack of compromise in the pursuit of what he saw as a desirable society. You know where you stood with him which is more than you can say for any hanger on in any party today with their grey compromises. Truly the end of a great life and Im saddened by the idea of not going to another one of his lectures. One less good voice in the market of ideas.
