bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-25101555 Im not saying the analysis clarifies the position - in many ways it generates more questions. Ive read the White Paper (bizarrely called a Blueprint????) and to be honest in my opinion its a bit like filibustering - it goes on so long that it becomes impenetrable. I respect Nicola Sturgeon for her amazing recollection of nearly every letter of the 650 pages, but I do worry for one simple reason. The SNP will have no purpose if Scotland votes NO - UNLESS it is their plan to keep having referenda until we get the outcome right for them. Clearly for them a YES vote is like turkeys voting for more Christmases. I understand people get passionate about their lineage; Ive lived here long enough to respect the passion my Scots-born friends have for their history, culture, ingenuity, enterprise and so much more. I wish in many ways I had the same for England, but Ive always seen myself as a World Citizen. And the world is getting smaller. To this observer it is evident there are so many areas in which the financial implications of a YES vote have not been fully explored, costed or have an alternative if they dont work out. Scotland and Scottish are already an identity, a brand and something many people around the world aspire to be part of. Imagine theres no countries, It isnt hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace..
