I watched one sixteen year old, educated in California, support his illegal family by working the phones selling credit cards to Americans. His California education (and that of his brothers and sisters, all paid for by the State of California) was reduced to his perfect bilingualism and probably hundreds of thousands of public dollars went out the window thanks to this inane deportation policy. There are about a quarter of a million young American citizens whove had one or more parents deported, some of them permanently banned from ever applying again for a visa. The punishments far exceed the supposed crimes. Those who have been deported for good reason get no warm welcome in Mexico. They are dismissed as trash even the gringos have thrown out and are soon enough reduced to street persons. Theres no salvation in this policy and no hope of rehabilitation for many. With friends like Obama, who needs enemies?
