been a long long day. Up with the larks to take SJ to work for breakfast shift, car frozen solid and roads like ice rink and me in my fleecy floral pjs, boots and a hat!. her work is at the top of town and no way was car skating back down to a junction...so long way weaving round roads lol...to then arrive at horses to find most of the herd in enclosed area of sheep field, when in fact should be cozied up inside the barn! Perplexed? I was!...turns out somehow one of the catlle gates had been lifted from its hinges and they all went for a winter night wander. Only Lucy & Tully in the pen, with Kalou neighing for her friends. Much time later...ALL horses out together, moved the wanderers in batches so lots of walking and to and fro-ing. Little Dynamite who incidentally is one of the smallest, was the last to round up - 2 hrs later. They are all out for the night, and actually is the first time all together, this evening they were all sharing haylage piles, double rugged and content. Me? Am buggered...as yesterday my car battery flat as some child left the inside interior light on all night, so had to walk in a blizzard up the steep hill and is 40 mins each way plus feed all the horses. Cold , wet, tired...Oh for the love of horses! ;) lol xx
