been away for about a week. l.c. is in icu, on breathing machine & sedated & sleeping, so i decided to come home for a night. he has pneumonia, pretty much full blown, & they are pumping fluid from his abdominal cavity. a small bowel resection started it all & hes not as young as he used to be (though much younger than his years attest to). please pray for his recovery & my coping abilities. a lack of sleep makes a weepy wanda of me. i have a wonderful support system; however, & am seldom completely alone & with gods presence, never completely alone. love you all for your prayers for this remarkable 85 yr. old man (& his not so strong wife).
