/begin stupid people and pitbulls rant: Ok so the other day Trent and I were in Lowes, and this young couple came in with an adolescent pure black, beautiful pit bull. He had on a martingale collar and the lady had him. They went to go down one of the end aisles, saw a man at the end with a lab. The pit saw the dog, got excited, but not aggressive, and they simply turned and walked around to another aisle. I told her he was beautiful, she said thank you. He was well behaved and she handled him beautifully. Later we were going into the store from the garden dept, and. They came by again. I asked her how old he was she said 2. Isaid he really is gorgeous. I told her I had 4(,000) at home ..she said PIT BULLS? I said yes. Just then, he realized I was looking at him, and He got all wiggly and was heading my way. Just as I was telling her it was ok, the second man from her party came up behind her and grabbed the leash, and said these dogs need someone with some strength to handle them and jerked him away from her. Being me, I couldnt not say anything, and said not if they are properly trained and socialized and he is fine he said something else... Rude no doubt. I didnt hear him and drug him off, she was all sheepish and followed. I told Trent that if Id known that dogs could come, I would have brought fatso and THAT would have shown him. My sister said did you tell him he was part of the problem not the solution? No but I wish I had. /stupid people rant
