being nice is not the same as being kind. nice is something anyone can do & is primarily concerned with how others think of me or i think of myself. but kindness is a fruit of gods spirit at work within me for the benefit of others...& because gods spirit is sacrificial in nature, kindness requires me to give something of myself up in order to give to another. thats why selfish people can be nice, but they cant be kind. the more we learn to accept gods kindness toward us & live out of that, the more kindness will flow from our lives to others...and kindness is what changes the world!
