Alastair Bruce gave an excellent account of his personal journey towards realising that the Labour party were no longer representing the working class or Scotland and his own personal reasons for supporting the Yes campaign. Riddoch and McAlpine gave great insights, describing and comparing other European political and economic systems with the UK and how Westminster is failing and disenfranchising ordinary citizens, consolidating wealth and power for the few, creating a society that is helpless, unable to perform simple democratic tasks on behalf of communities. Small government is good, government from the people, by the people. Not decrees handed down from on high as we have at the moment. I will definitely be getting a copy of Lesley Riddochs book Blossom lesleyriddoch/blossom-the-book.html
