bertsbasket of memories ( the cat from hell )when I first came to Oregon one of my great friends was colleen mills and dave mills I would baby sit their two little girls Cassidy and bailey joy . they were my dads most favorite neighbors on parrett mtn when dad died the mills moved to redmond and they sweet cat they had moved too .they walked the cat thru the house all was calm then into the bathroom now as he walked the cat thru the house coming into the bathroom all of a sudden the cat saw . shower bathroom curtains that had big loops in them dave said the cat thought it must have been big eyes because that cat went pure crazy . that cat clawed dave up getting out bathroom . then the cat never the same they even gave it meds for nerves but the sweet cat became know as the devil cat . ok fast forward a year I am at their new house mills on vacation I am keeping girls who were about 10 and 8 . I have been warned about the devil cat . the cat stayed out all night but in morning real early he was meowing at the door I was told to let it in so I did that cat took one look at me climbed the walls hid on top of a huge chest in the lr then hissed and meowed like some one pulling its tail . I was told leave her alone I did but in passing the mirrow I looked at my self I was a mess hair all over theplace.sleepy face no wonder cat went crazy again . you know the cat moved 3 times with the mills it stayed that devil cat for years would just suddenly screech and claw at them it had to be having nightmares of remembering me opening that door to let it in . and i have another story to share with friends and family postscript the bend and Redmond area is known for volcano activity I was told the mills home sat near lold dead volcano maybe that cat was smarter than us it heard things maybe we did not . written july 19 2013
