bertsbasket of memories ( the puzzed look ) we were staying at the river camp on sullivans landing Edisto river one hot summer when Kermit my husband set some catfish lines . you set a line on the hanging bush over the river then check them later . it was laterthat day nd we all were stting on he bank . when across the river the willow bush stated to shake Kermit said bert I am going across to check the line do you want to ride I said no you go ahead I can see from here . so Kermit jumped in the boat rode across the river . he stayed just a few minutes . when he came back he had the most puzzed look on his face . I said did you get a fish . he sat down still with a puzzed look . he said no I saw something I never saw before. said what a gator ore a snake . he said bert I saw an eel with legs . real legs bert it s really had legs real legs so I cut the line . I asked around about this eel it was eel that had back legs the eel are considered poison and I am glad Kermit cut that line I never ever saw a eel with legs then .and never ever saw one yet . but I never forgot the puzzed look on my husband kermits face . I share another story with my friends and family on my berts basket of memories written march 21 2014
