brave brāv/ adjective 1. ready to face and endure danger or pain; showing courage. 2. April McCloskey (not really in the dictionary but its part of my definition of the word) There is nothing in that definition that says there is an absence of fear. This chemo journey starts tomorrow. I dont think we are showing a lack of faith or bravery to say we are scared. This is a big deal. We have some cancer to destroy! This family has shown great bravery in a lot of things. Theyve also shown us all how to face fears of the unknown with great grace. Im pretty sure I speak for many when I say you will never be alone on this journey. There is a Glorious Unfolding (credits to Steven Curtis Chapman) that is occurring here. I believe it with all my heart. Its not the story any of us would have written for you but we are with you. On some days when youre tired of the fight, rest your head and we will fight for you. You are BRAVE!!! You are loved beyond measure and you are prayed for without ceasing. Look out cancer...youve met your match! Hey April, dont look now, but your courage is showing... You got this girl, you got this! Photo credits to Bekah Bowman Photography
