Brethren, a Leopard can never change its colour hence the leadership of the IMO state PDP is still the same yesterday, today and even tomorrow. It is on this note that Senator Hope Uzodinma, has not just assumed the soul of IMO state PDP but is now the Alpha and Omega of the party in IMO state, as he dictates who gets what in the party. A grapevine source from his camp who spoke to me on the condition of anonymity, asserted that his Abuja home has been turned into a political Mecca of sorts by politicians vying for different political positions in Imo state. The most interesting aspect of it all is the persistent and consistent plead by all the governorship aspirants in the state scrambling for his endorsement in order for them to emerge the guber aspirant of IMO PDP. The source had it that the first person to have begged the Senator passionately for support was Senator Chris Anyanwu. The PDP member who doubles as an aide to the Omuma born senator, averred in clear terms that Senator Hope Uzodinma placed a price tag of 2 billion naira for any aspirant who wish to win the PDP primary in the state. A condition he said Senator Chris Anyanwu couldnt meet up with nor been able to price closer to that amount, but has continued to press hard her luck by begging perpetually. He further asserted that the only two people who are horse trading very hard in order to suffice up with this presaging ill fortune befalling IMO state PDP aspirants by senator Hope Uzodinma are Senator Ifeanyi Araraume and Chief Ikedi Ohakim. He recaped that Senator Ifeanyi Araraume seems to have upper hand ahead of other aspirants considering his advancement so far with Hope Uzodinma,s price tag. Some political pundits had earlier made it clear that Araraume is more smart in playing politics of Party primaries in IMO state ahead of other politicians. When i asked him about the fate of Hon Emeka Ihedioha, he waved and wrote him off, saying that Ihedioha is not even on the good book of the Senator owing to his cunning and treacherous attitude in keeping to political agreements. He revealed further how Ihedioha has been fighting the Senator from different angles perhaps due to the party structure, and summed that the reckoning period is fast approaching for Ihedioha,s guber ambition. But no matter what anybody might say or feel about IMO state PDP, the party,s conservativeness and sinister nature for years towards the people of IMO state shall never change even if Ndimo decides to romance or support the Party again. Therefore, the best option for Ndimo is to reject them intoto before developmental EBOLA will befall on us, having seen the unending developmental strides being witnessed today in IMO state under Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha,s administration. Tell me how a Governor can work for the people when he/she pays through the nose to win election and subsequently start servicing godfathers like the Iwuanyanwu,s, Nzeribe,s, Uzodinma,s, Chukwu,s, Udenwa,s, Shavon,s and a whole lot of others?
