busy Saturday- saw The Babadook at CineFamily Silent Theatre in LA, then made it over to Burbank for a self-guided tour of the ever-expanding Halloween Town and a 20th anniversary poster signing at Dark Delicacies bookstore (congrats, Del & Sue!). As if that werent enough, I scarfed 2 slices of Za, then headed over to the venerable Wiltern Theatre to catch King Parrot and my buddy Philip Anselmos band Down. Hung w/ Philip & Kate before & after the awesome show- now thats a rock concert! PA turned me onto the songs of Chelsea Wolfe and an episode of Outer Limits called The Guests. Made it home in one piece, just downed a bowl of Life cereal & now Im truly ready for bed. Hell, its only 3 oclock in the aye em, the girls & pets are long crashed and tomorrows another day. By the way, if youre in Sacramento tomorrow night (well, I guess its officially tonight), check out Down & King Parrot, and say hi from me!
