ca. 1915 The railroad dock at the end of Strawberry Avenue. (Strawberry Avenue was incorporated into the South Business Loop to become todays extended Ringling Boulevard.) They would fill the cars with ice from New West Florida Ice Company at 6th and (todays) Lemon Ave, and go out to this dock to pick up fish. (or drop ice into boats to ship the fish elsewhere, I forget which.) This is a very rare photograph, indeed.
