calvaryslc@aol John 15:16 16You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. Chosen and appointed, these are two great words. The first says that Jesus chose us, He looked upon our lives, our hearts, our weaknesses and sin and still chose us. This does not mean some are chosen to be lost and some saved but rather that even in our weakness, He still chose us. Appointed or ordained, means to be placed in position, placed with a purpose. We have a call and purpose in our lives, to bear fruit, to be useful for the One Who chose us. He calls us to this. He empowers us for this. He desires this fruit, this treasure, this pleasure and purpose in our lives. Walk today knowing that Jesus has a plan and purpose for your day, a plan to use your for fruitfulness in His Kingdom.
