can us as Sierra Leoneans ask ourselves what have we contributed to fight ebola in our country for once? our individual contributions to this fight in the form of raising community awareness about ebola prevention worth millions of dollars to me. you can go to your neighbor and tell him or her that if their relative is sick, they should take him or her to a recognised hospital instead of giving him or her secret medicare(pepeh docta) and they should not touch or wash dead relatives whose status or cause of death is not known. tell them about the no body contact and regular wash hand campaign. they should report strangers who come to stay with them from other places to the DHMT, area chief or police. if you are out of Sierra Leone, call your relatives and teach them about ebola prevention.these advice cost more than millions of dollars. we dont need foreign experts to tell us this. the ebola prevention awareness campaign should be community driven campaign.
