cant even tell you how great it was to spend three profoundly fun-packed, work-slammed days with Rose OKeefe, Jeff Burk, and Cameron Pierce, my excellent host while in Portland. Could not ask for a better team to deliver me this dizzying crash course in the jaunty, daunting, exhilarating enormity of the wildass job Ive taken on. Or have cooler, more passionately committed co-conspirators in the next wave of cheerful brainscape troublemaking, already in progress. Suffice to say that being an editor just took on a couple new orders of magnitude. And this old dog is learning new tricks.
