car wouldnt start this morning. A couple of neighbours, one I hardly know and another not at all, helped me out. Went over Stockton to pick up the missus this evening and it conked out again. We decided a taxi home was the answer. On the off chance I asked the taxi driver if he had any jumper leads. He said he had some at home and promptly took us there. Along the way we got his life story, he was born in India, moved to France with parents, father passed away but still visits his mom in France. Been in UK 15 years, has 4 kids. He picked up the cables and took us to our car and got us started. Forget the bastard bankers, the politicians, the corporate greedies. Ordinary people are mostly really nice.
