Syllabus and Scheme of SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination Staff Selection Commission (SSC) holds a Combined All India Open Written Examination for recruitment to the posts of Data Entry Operator: and Lower Division Clerk for which 12th Standard Pass or equivalent is the minimum qualification.Scheme and Syllabus of Examination: The written examination is held in the following subjects for the post of Data Entry Operator and Lower Division Clerk followed by Skill Test and Typing Test respectively. The written examination consists of one objective type paper as shown below: 1. General Intelligence : 50 Marks 2. English Language (Basic Knowledge) : 50 Marks 3. Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill) : 50 Marks 4. General Awareness : 50 Marks NOTE- I: The Paper consists of Objective Type- Multiple choice questions only. The questions is set both in English & Hindi for Part-I, III & IV. NOTE-II: There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture Geography, Economic Scene, General policy and scientific research.Note-1: For VH candidates of 40% and above visual disability and opting for Scribes there will be no component of Maps/ Graphs/ Diagrams/ Statistical Data in the General Intelligence & Reasoning / General Awareness Paper.Note-2: The questions will be of the level commensurate with Educational Qualification prescribed for the posts.
