Theres no way that within Nepals 27 million population that there are 2 million orphaned and abandoned children. Complete nonsense. Because many children still do not attend school, there is a 60% illiteracy rate, 80% among women. Also rubbish. See these figures as provided by UNICEF in 2013:unicef.org/infobycountry/nepal_nepal_statistics.html Nepal has taken huge strides forward in recent years and credit should be given where credit is due rather than peddling trash like this just as an excuse to send in Christian books. Whats wrong with sending plain educational ones that could benefit all children in all communities - and be factually accurate to boot?
