churhcill alemao : A unique example of generosity , a man who claims not to be from any particular party but claims in be from the heart of goans ..where he has made hs place through years of penance and not by pennies ( like some who r supporting congress now as the party has thrown some pennies to them to back it). he has been the backbone of the konkani agitation and the key responsible man that our beloved mother tongue has survived and respected .He is the main reason our future children will remember to talk konkani and to expand it further.. which goan politician who now blow so much trumpet for betterment of goa has guts to go to any extent for their mother tongue that time ? oh i forgot they werent even aware in their short pants then that they were getting deprived of something so important if not for their father churchill. some say he is not that educated … well which of our dear educated politicians today have let go 1 rs from their personal bank account for the upliftment of goan youth ?whereas churchill is unrelentlessly running the only family run football team which is the most loved sport of goa .. well i dont think his own children r playing on the ground he invests crores of rs but the goan sport and youth r given chances in their life ,they r given employment to make goa proud the state proud on national and international platform .if there is churchills name in the team,its every win against other states or countries makes goa proud ! recently they said that churchill is one with BJP … well nuthin remains to say when parrikar has denied his support … still i dont understand the illusioned brains of few who feel proclaiming their secrets on some one elses name would hide their filled pockets ! Churchill stood for what he feels right. though there is no love lost with mr sardine,churchill feels he was a legitimate candidate .. also in a country where a revolution of a kind is taking place for the women empowerment and which bye the way has been proclaimed over and over again by our loved party congress he decided to let go his own chance which he would unopposed have been chosen as the only congress mp of south goa and gave it to his daughter valanka who is btw a woman and Strong woman and fulfills congress criterias to the dot a young .highly educated , versatile , loyal congress woman .i guess every daughter will want such a sacrificial father who can leave his undisputed position for the parties good and agenda. as for secular … its laughable offfence that some nitwit politicians have hurled at him to demean his identity but the past always peeks out and as for churchill his past speaks that he has been a strong secularist for all these years of his career . he was the one who initiated to resolve hindu muslim problems cropping up in curchorem , he was the one always backing and supporting minority community for their betterment . The support that churchill has given again out of his own pocket for the tiatrs nd carnival etc and kept up the goan traditions and essence of goa continuously for all these years .. no one can have that big a heart of a secularist ! where still our politicians are wondering what stance to take to make themselves an account in swiss bank via mopa … churchill has steadfastly stood against the airport nearer to maharashtra border for the benefits of outsiders than goans . the airport which would deprive so many ppl of their years together houses and lands for just monitory and political gains of some few .its not the compensation that matters which by the way would never be up to the mark but the sentiments that have rooted in those places of the residents for generation together and to no avail for there is no need for such a big project to goa . Churchill is one of the very clearly spoken politician who made his stand clear not on basis of how much his pockets will be filled but on the basis that his peoples pockets shouldnt be let out for the gains of few on top ! dont u think he deserves his praise for being so outright than any other mic hogging politician who just comment on him for their personal agendas to be satisfied like getting some cut out of Mopa airport for instance!our own churchill :: he is one man who has always been there in all ways for our fellow goans . In his deeds , in his lifetime in politics , in his personal life he has always given his people the for most priority . today this senior leader is standing only on the confidence and hope of his people whom he has strived his whole life for !!
