INTRODUCTION: ALL THINGS not good things only, but including the BAD things - they all work together for the greater good of those who; A. Love God / B. CALLED (salvation) / C. Chosen (serve / ministry) According to His purpose (5 fold ministries; I. Apostles / II. Prophets / III. Evangelists / IV. Pastors / V. & Teachers God Knows everything about us / He has a Plan & Purpose for us Omniscient - All Knowing / Foreknowledge - Knows the Future / He knows our Needs, Wants, Likes & Desires (what we love) 5. The Game; ILAN GANYAN MO? Kim NGIPEN / TEETH (her answer - 3) she has only THREE teeth 3rd Victim - Bro Eric Paul Pepito Mondia KASINTAHAN / GIRLFRIEND (his answer - wala / none) he has NO girlfriend (wrong answer / he has) Moral Lesson Learned; This proves that GOD knows you better than you know yourself, For HE created you. The CREATOR knows HIS creation. HE even knows how many hairs do you have on your head (we don’t know that) / To all singles - HE even knows who is the perfect match HE created for you. Practical Application: So we must NOT question HIS plans and HIS will for us. We should NEVER complain or murmur against GOD for the negative things that are happening to us. Bible Verse - I Thessalonians 5:18; In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Job 1:21 “the LORD gives, the LORD takes away. Blessed be the NAME of the LORD.” 6. THE BODY: (illustration); STORY OF A STRANDED MISSIONARY IN A WILD FOREST WITH A TRIBE OF CANNIBALS LIVING IN THERE (a story full of negative things happening in the life of a preacher with the response of murmurings & complaints) Moral: Everything is in the Plan & Will of God for the good of those who LOVES Him & for those who are CALLED according to His purpose. God can use even the negative things for a positive result. HIS ways are not our ways, & HIS thoughts are not our thoughts. 7. The TESTIMONIES; Mom died in a hospital with Diphtheria at the age of 3 (ma’am Nellie Gallimet knows about this / she even told this story to the other professors when they interviewed me at the office for enrollment) Ptr de Guia, my grandfather, held her in his arms and prayed in the midst of the doctors and nurses; “my god and Elijah’s god is the same!” (A MIRACLE HAPPENED!) Dad as a teenager was rob of his watch and stabbed in the back with a knife on his way to a home bible study. Internal bleeding / The BRIGHT LIGHT (A MIRACLE HAPPENED!) An unbeliever wanted to propose to my mom as a youth, mom refused / The THREAT to KILL her & her father / prayed / The Giant Body Guards Encamping Moms House, a.k.a. The ANGELS! MINISTERING SPIRITS Psalms 91:11 For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. (the unbeliever & his gang run away for fear / returned to apologize & testify to my grandfather / & they were baptized in Jesus Name! Joseph sold into slavery (the brothers meant it for evil, but god meant it for good) If Joseph wasn’t sold, then pharaoh’s dream will never be interpreted and everyone will starve to death by the famine including Joseph. 8. CONCLUSION: This morning we will not ask anything from the lord, (repentance / forgiveness of our sins for us to be saved & not to be damned / healing for our sicknesses & diseases / financial blessings for our tuition, for food, money to commute / all SELFISH PRAYERS for our OWN Good, for our OWN Sake, for our OWN Benefit, for our OWN Gain But we will just give Him Thanks for all things! For HE is GOD alone in the Good times and Bad!! Let’s just Praise and Worship Him! He is Good and His Mercies endureth forever! Nobody should be sad today / we are NOT going to sing a solemn song All of those who are Happy, shout; GOD IS GOOD! Let’s sing a Joyful song; “Thank You Lord!” We are free to Praise the LORD & show our gratitude to our good GOD! 9.
