columbia SC (cola) O N G O I N G P R A C T I C E : hi all, we had a blast in columbia last tuesday, 6-8 pm even though it rained as we traveled to the location. this tuesday we hope to do it again, and if the weather holds good, its reasonable to expect 20+ folks. (like tuesday before last) there were folk sharing rapier combat, rattan combat, tai chi, jewelry making, armor making, inkle loom weaving and costume ideas. if you want to play, we can arrange it. its normal to find folks from charlotte nc, columbia and surrounding sc areas, augusta ga, and regional travelers. this is not in garb. [do have personal male / female armor, sweat pants, sweat shirt or other long sleeve fencing garment / jacket. blades can be borrowed if you dont have your own] and do bring liquid to hydrate, as it gets hot. what else? post or write me if you need a ride, we might can arrange something, i might can pick others up on the way.
