CHRIS _: My Issue: Hi, I called Comcast and cancel my services at my old address and I opened a new account at my new home; however, I logged in and saw that I have a bill for $199.00 that will be automatically be debited from my account. Rhodette: Thank you for confirming, let me go ahead and pull up your account to best assist you with this matter. Rhodette: I understand that you want to check on your bill. Let me go ahead and check this for you. Rhodette: May I ask how are we doing so far? CHRIS _: Good Did you pull up the bill from the previous account and see what I am referring too? Rhodette: I can see your new account. May I ask if what is the account number for your previous account? CHRIS _: 8495753831274625 - Old (Deerfield Beach, FL 33442) Rhodette: Thank you for providing that information. Rhodette: I see here that this account is active. CHRIS _: it shouldnt be. I called to transfer service to my new address and comcast told me that I had to cancel my old service, then call a special number, and reorder new services. I did as instructed Rhodette: Thanks for letting me know. May I ask if you have a new account number? CHRIS _: I even delivered the old equipment in person to the local Comcast office to make sure that Comcast knew that I canceled CHRIS _: 8495752430371196 is the new account (Parkland, FL 33067) Rhodette: Thank you for providing that information. Rhodette: My apologies however, the old account at 8495753831274625 is not yet disconnected. CHRIS _: I know, this is why we are here. It shouldve been disconnected in late June as instructed. Comcast did not cancel it as discussed and now I have a bill. We are here to erase those charges and correct the problem.Rhodette: My apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you, Chris. Rhodette: We can resolve your cocncern. All you need to do is call 1-888-739-1379 to have the account disconnected since we are with billing for active accounts. This is also for the bill to be corrected. I promise that I will leave a detailed notation on the account so that you dont need to repeat yourself to them.
