I think the matrix hypothesis with macro and micro as described in this article is what we are experiencing but the micro is harder to tell beyond quarks in that beyond quarks is A) theoretical and B) technically smaller than our eyes will ever perceive. But string theory is quite similar to the matrix theory in that instead of binary we have strings and particles...which is still technically binary but of a theoretical and slightly different nature. Whereas the Matrix theory outright states that quarks have a binary system of being generated. All these theories though lack the usage of the cosmological constant(CC) which seems to indicate that regardless of distance the measurement is always the same. I believe that a sophisticated enough particle generator would need location based algorithmic modification, IE changing its power level to suit the distance needed to always have a perfect particle. If proven that the CC does contain evidence that it is being emitted by a generator and that the particle contains binary instructions Then ... Any version of the matrix hypothesis can upgrade to a matrix theory. But lets be honest the 18th century isnt the first time this was a hypothesis or a theory. The theory existed 96 years before René Descartes was even born...RD just made it popular knowledge or public domain
