continuing prayer for Latin America: “Father-God, we come before You with thanksgiving and praise for the *good reports from Latin America. We enter into prayer with the church in these 22 countries, and praise You for the difference they are making spiritually, economically and socially. You have caused evangelical leaders to find favor and good understanding with political, police and civic leaders. For this we praise You! Father, thank You for moving on the hearts of the people as Your anointed ministers teach the authority of the Bible, and the importance of having a personal relationship with You through Jesus Christ who works with them day and night. Father, in the name of Jesus, forgive us for ignoring Biblical stewardship of natural resources and turning away from the environmental degradation and exploitation that has a direct and tragic impact on Amerindian peoples and on our world. We make our request known to You…asking for God-fearing environmental leaders who will look carefully how they walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time because the days are evil. We pray that the eyes of their understanding will be opened, and they will know what the will of the Lord is. We proclaim the Lord’s name and give praise to you, Most High God! You are the Rock, Your acts are perfection! No doubt about it: all Your ways are right!
