conversations with my friend (who lost her house in the fire) that make me know that healing is beginning....and that makes my heart soo happy for her. :) (its one big inside joke but still just random and funny!) Missy(aka, Melissa): guess what was NOT lost in the fire? juuuust guess.... Me: that horse riding thing Gary got you as a gift...(like you ride when you go to a bar a ride a Mechanical bull...whatever bar that happens in.) Missy: LOL, NO Me: the mystery candle? Me: OH WAIT, I lost that didnt I?? Missy: Umm....YOU lost that, nice try Me: the gimp hand Sarah Palin bobble head doll? Missy: shes BURNT UP Me: SARAH!!! NOOOO!!! Missy: yep, goner. Me: your giant prego belly mold? Missy: LOL! no Me: THE BUCK HEAD!! Missy: YEP!!! The buck head lives another day. (and lived with us daily at college! ya know, not creepy at all in a college apartment) Me: Oh come on, you know you LOVE that buck head! HA! I mean, you killed it yourself, you know you are proud. That thing wont REALLY die even if we want it to!! (haha! get it!) Me: and I know its only been a few days and all....and it still SUCKS SOO BAD....BUUUT, is it to early to start planning your new house? Because Im a little excited about that part!! (and just think, you wont have to live with mice/woodpeckers/rodents/stinkbugs/birds and animals of all sorts trying to constantly move in with you anymore!) (and I immediately start sending houzz photos over) i love how laughter is soo healing. i will remember this ridiculous conversation forever.
