copied from meadows in the woods: David Williams: Please let me here request of the scouting crew consideration of a nice place at the gathering this year to site the Indigenous Elders Camp where it can be supported with appropriate kitchen(s) such as Kid Village, and where a nice seriously focused council circle can happen daily to further discussion of the mutual prophecy fulfillment theme and to organize, plan and practice for the 2016 White Buffalo Intertribal Rainbow Gathering Perhaps the most important thing to consider in focalizing such an intertribal rainbow gathering is what format it would best take place using , in order to enable sufficient mutual respect for all tribes to gather to share and compare knowledge to enrich one another. In the case of the White Buffalo Intertribal Rainbow Gathering envisaged by the global rainbow family council in Switzerland last Fall, because that title makes reference to it as an international rainbow gathering and not a rainbow family gathering, that would seem to provide the head space to convene such an Aug2016 gathering with some expressed expectations of acceptable behavior that participants would tacitly agree to by hearing of them as part of the (almost open?) invitation to participate. Also, since the call for this WBIRG gathering was inspired by the now widespread global public awareness of the amazing fulfillment of the Lakota white buffalo prophecy, it would seem logical that its format might best follow the guidance and advice of the Lakota leaders with deep experience in conducting sacred ceremonies and councils on that theme, in order to compare their related knowledge with the comparable knowledge of other participating tribes and individuals, regarding this theme of different cultures prophecies happening to be fulfilled during these times and how a broader public understanding of such comparative knowledge might help fulfill everyones desire for a better world in the coming generations. For example, the Lakota-Dakota-Nakota 19th generation sacred bundle keeper has conducted summer solstice sacred circle pipe ceremonies annually around the world, uniting all the people, tribal or not, per the spiritual instructions he received after the start of the births of so many white buffalo calves since August 1994 which indicate the fulfillment of their white buffalo prophecy from 19 generations ago. Seems to me it would not only be a great opportunity lost, but also disrespectful to call for such a WBIRG without inviting the guidance and advice of the people whose teachings of the sacred pipe that the white buffalo symbol represents. In fact, to convene such a titled gathering without following the guidance of the Lakota keepers of this knowledge would be considered by many as foolhardy and another episode of cultural misappropriation, wouldnt it? The global rainbow call for this WBIRG included the call to especially include appropriate folks discussion of the Hopi prophecy message in respect of aspects of this prophecy also having been fulfilled in recent times, such as their House of Mica prophecy fulfilled in 1991-92 and their Gourd of Ashes prophecy of the atomic bomb fulfilled in 1945, seventy years ago this year 2015 which is the 20th Anniversary of the Global Peace Walk across the U.S. organized and conducted by rainbow family kin but just not using the rainbow symbol in its name, the walk that the UN itself provided with printed copies to distribute along the way of the indigenous elders messages delivered to the UN on December 10, 1992, the presentations that fulfilled the hose of mica prophecy revealed publicly by the Hopi elders in 1948, a public revelation of previously secret knowledge prompted by the fulfillment of the gourd of ashes prophecy. Wherever the July4th annual Rainbow Family Gathering is held in 2015 and 2016, the annual indigenous elders camp near kid village seems like a logical venue to conduct councils on this day to day to invoke this knowledge in preparation for WBIRG in Aug2016 wherever that happens.
