copied without permission THE LOUD MOUTH OF #mBuYa Let me start by congratulating Prof Peter Mutharika and Saulos Chilima for their election as president and vice president reprectively. I have nothing much to say but know that Malawians are waiting for the judicial complex in Lilongwe, Mombera university in Mzimba and the other universities, medical schemes for civil servants, salary increaments, media freedom jus to mention but a few. We all know that this pair is capable and for sure they will deliver. Long live our leaders. Now, I want to thank all those who did not vote for MCP. Voting for this party could have been a huge blow to our democracy. MCP could have done everything posible to bring back the one party government just like how it did in 1964. The fist ever elections in Malawi was done in April 1964, where MCP won 50 out of 53 places in the National Assembly and The Nyasaland Constitutional Party won the remaining 3. You cant guess what happened next, the 3 NCP MPs disappeared and up to now nobody researched about their whereabouts. The officials of the NCP were then tortured, murdered and went through various forms of discrimination until they all perished and that was the end of their party. To everyones surprise the MCP claimed that the NCP died a natural death. Now the same could have happened and all the 47 political parties in Malawi could have died the natural death. Dont forget that History repeats itself
