couldnt be more proud of the two young scholars in the house... Chelsee received notification today that she was selected to participate in a special program for high school students interested in careers in Veterinary Medicine. She will attend the Veterinary Medical Explorer Conference, receive hands-on training in animal clinics, be exposed to all aspects of veterinary medicine but most importantly, be involved in a year long mentorship by top veterinarians in the field. Involvement in this program will also make her eligible for local and national college scholarships. It is not common for sophomores to be selected for this program so she must have made a favorable impression on someone, somewhere. I am so excited for her and this opportunity she has earned! Ashlee has received an invitation to become a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. She earned this honor because of her academic achievement and leadership potential. Membership will give her access to scholarships and awards exclusive to its members. It also gives her opportunity to receive personal success coaching, access to an exclusive job bank, priority access to speaker events featuring best selling authors, celebrity speakers, leaders in professional & personal success. Most importantly, she will receive graduation honors in addition to a host of other member benefits. It is news like this that remind me that the hard work and headaches have not been in vain.
