couple pointers prior opinion: A. This guy @ mingpao is pretty much expressing personal, often baseless and unwarranted opinion. In other words, there isnt much difference between him and us, blowing water in every direction imaginable. He certainly know people whom welded more political influence then us, but seriously, if he actually know anything important, this would not be an opinion piece, but an exclusive. Think about it. B. White/blackwashing 101: when you say SaiWan/ Central Politburo of the Communist Party of China has subtle approval of Ricky Wong, I am not surprised, really. Ricky Wong himself as a businessman certainly has ties with Mainland, thats obvious. But you mentioning him in your writing is hinting how he is going to abide and be assimilated into the political will and agenda of the government, thats your personal effort trying to sap Ricky Wongs popular support. Not exactly cleaver because even simple minded people like myself can see through the tricks. Now, the juicy (?) part of the message, saying oh, the Mainland Central government has neutral opinion of HKTV, even there is some concern/reservation, and didnt actually wish to veto (lols) their application if at all; then CY in response with this expected incompetency, pretty much blotch his political assignment in his usual overkill coupled with non-explanation, hey, why not publish this any earlier, but now? This is why I think theres certain ounces of truth hidden in this sea of grains of salt. Imagine how would the Legislature Councilors vote, my good god! lols.
