Cars are at a standstill on the Gold Coast as hot holiday makers make their way home. Traffic cams: Check your route A multi-vehicle crash is slowly clearing on the Pacific Motorway at Coomera, with one lane reportedly blocked. Marine Parade at Southport is also experiencing long delays. Authorities have further warned motorists around Reedy Creek to drive cautiously due to the smoky conditions caused by a grassfire. To the north of Brisbane, holiday traffic has also the Bruce Highway from the Sunshine Coast to Caboolture into gridlock. Both lanes of the highway are blocked with motorists experiencing long delays. Motorists have been urged to show patience.
