courtesy of sf gate niner blob...Enough already. We’ve heard plenty about the 49ers’ paltry passing game, about the legality of Ahmad Brooks’ clothesline sack (his words, not mine) of Drew Brees, so how about something positive? Here are some stats to chew on, which were provided by the 49ers’ public relations staff. -With a win against Washington, the 49ers will set a record for most wins on Monday Night football with 44. They are currently tied with Dallas. -Since 2006, running back Frank Gore has 11,604 all-purpose yards, the most in the NFL. -Since 2007, linebacker Patrick Willis is the only defender with 18 sacks (18.5), 15 forced fumbles (16) and seven interceptions (seven). -Since 2009 including playoffs, tight end Vernon Davis ranks second to Detroit’s Calvin Johnson (51) in touchdown catches with 44. -Since making his first start on Nov. 19 last year, quarterback Colin Kaepernick is fifth in the NFL in yards per attempt (7.7), tied for fifth in fewest interceptions (10), and is sixth with 36 passes over 25 yards. What does all this say? The 49ers are talented and, specifically, that Kaepernick is more than a capable passer. After reading that, do you feel better? and im out...n9nrlen
