csnbayarea/raiders/raiders-week-8-loss-browns-three-negatives 1. Red-zone force field: The Raiders gained 387 yards against Cleveland. If you can believe it, only 20 of those yards came inside the opposing 20-yard line. They only reached it once, during a far-too-late touchdown drive in the fourth quarter. The Raiders were kept out of the all-important scoring zone, a troubling trend for an offense too reliant on long-distance field goals to score. How strong was this (imaginary) red zone “force field?” Pretty powerful, apparently. The Raiders couldn’t break the 20 late in the first half and resorted to a 38-yard field goal. Darren McFadden ran nine yards to the 20 before losing a fumble that changed the game. Scary thing is the Raiders one trip isn’t far from the norm. They only average 1.6 trips into the red zone this year, which obviously ranks last in the NFL. That’s also a bummer for the Raiders because they score touchdowns on 72.73-percent of their red zone trips, third-best in the league. -RaiderRambo-
