PennDOT announced late Monday afternoon the detour involving part of Route 54 involving the tunnel to the Danville-Riverside Bridge being closed should be lifted, weather permitting. Traffic was being detoured onto Mill Street while North Shore Railroad replaced its crossing south of Route 11. The work was related to the flood gate project at Routes 54 along Mahoning Creek. The around-the-clock detour had been in effect since Thursday"
