John Chap.11; & Jn. 12:1-7. ~~If you cant agree in anything else about Jesus, you must admit that He DEFINATELY knew how to treat His friends! GLG/TMP. ~Somewhere within the vast repository we call The Bible all have found & claimed at least, one Scripture that is their own; a type of signature. By now, everybody should know mine(2). The one, Acts 26:24-25; is my MIND. Philemon 6-7, represent the fruit of my HEART & SPIRIT. Just as the Bible is the only story so complex, but so easy to catch ahold of; the narration in a Voice you never heard, but speaks softly; as a iron fist in a velvet glove- The ONLY chronicle of the Only Two Lives we shall ever live- The Complete account of How Jesus Put Death-to death. Having said that, READ THE HOLY BIBLE FOR YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING. Did you discover the many instances when Jesus showed loving concern for His friends? too many to write here--you make your own list. ~Ill use the Gospel recorded in John for example: I filled in the blank with your name; & mine, too._________________&________________ * The 1st thing Jesus did here, was: -He taught=the REASON WHY; not to execute punishment, but to give glory & reverence to God the Father. -& the glory & Godly reverence Jesus Himself would receive not only before He did anything, but teach Mary, Martha, & many._______________ * The 2nd thing Jesus did was PROVIDE COMFORT to His friends. How difficult it is to put into words the thought desire of consoling words & gentle deeds. It was difficult for me to fully ingest them in my painful spirit during the occasions of death in my family._____________________ * To reinforce the revelation of the reversal of death He was about to perform, Jesus remained away for 2 more days after He learned of Lazaruss death. That gave time for all groups to gather in Bethany: those who love Him before He did anything, those who would & those that wont believe in Him.___________________ * When Jesus spoke of the day & the night, I believe He implied that God can ILLUMINATE OPPORTUNITIES in your walk with Christ that may be for_______________to UTILIZE Spiritual gifts; or an object lesson for______________. * Jesus also STRENGTHENED WEAK HEARTS in love, & REBUKED FEAR. __________________ * Jesus taught His Supernatural ability wasnt limited to providing physical food & drink; but PROVIDED Spiritual food forever to_______________! * The words of Jesus encouraged Thomas to take a stand WITH JESUS; even in knowing that the Jews might kill them(Job 13:15) __________________. * Sometimes the good side effects of a death is, it BRINGS FORTH human compassion & opportunity for REUNION with family(Gal.5:22-23). The 2nd best reaction to a death(salvation is #1)is for friends to FORM, ENJOY, & ASSIST in the healing process._____________________ * Through the words of Martha we see the PROFESSION OF FAITH in belief in Jesus as The PROMISED MESSIAH. The 10th time Jesus says, I AM. * Jesus the Rabboni(Great teacher) has arrived; & I think you want to see Him for yourself. And both sisters hurried to BE CLOSE TO JESUS; took the Jews who followed not to the gravesite, but to the SON OF GOD. * Seeing the operations of the human spirit of consolation & berevement at Lazaruss tomb caused Jesus to moan & cry in body-soul-Spirit._______________________! * Even in her misery, Martha warned Jesus not to become ritually unclean with the scent of decomposition; but God knew that NOTHING Jesus ever did could make Him unclean(Heb. 1:8-9; 2:6-11)! * I believe that Jesus allowed Lazarus to remain dead 4 days, so as to prevent the comparison between this temporary resurrection, & His coming ETERNAL Resurrection.
