daystar-publications QUESTION: When will the church be “TAKEN” (Matt. 24:40-41; Luke 17:34-36); When will the church be “CHANGED” (1 Cor. 15:51-52); When will the church be “CAUGHT UP” (1 Thes. 4:17), out of this world? ANSWER: When the REPROOF of the Holy Spirit is FULLY REJECTED in the world. Only THEN will “…HE [the Holy Spirit] be TAKEN OUT of the way” (2 Thes. 2:7), and the church [which is FEW IN NUMBER] will be TAKEN with Him! The world has ALREADY rejected God, and has reduced Him to “…an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD” (Acts 17:23). He is known today as only a supreme being, but not much else! The world has ALREADY rejected Jesus as the Christ and Son of God, starting with the Jews: “…What think ye of Christ? Whose son is he? THEY [the Jews] say unto HIM [Jesus], The Son of David” (Matt. 22:42). In other words, God HAS NO SON! Now, the whole world is echoing their delusion. Today, the world is REJECTING the Holy Ghost, “…having a FORM of godliness, but DENYING THE POWER thereof” (2 Tim. 3:5). The world is in a continuous process of “…FALLING AWAY” (2 Thes. 2:3), that is, rejecting the Holy Spirit’s sole purpose in the world, to “…REPROVE the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment” (John 16:8). Through HEARING the Word of God, the Holy Spirit “REPROVES,” that is, He PROVES to a person, or even a statement, to be in error or false. He also gives caution against faults. He warns, as John the Baptist pointed out to the Pharisees and Sadducees, “WHO HATH WARNED YOU TO FLEE from the wrath to come” (Matt. 3:7)? Have YOU been warned? But the world’s EARS are rapidly becoming “…DULL OF HEARING” (Matt. 13:15; Acts 28:27), because the TIME has come when THE MAJORITY “…will not ENDURE [to put up with] SOUND DOCTRINE; but after THEIR OWN lusts shall they HEAP TO THEMSELVES teachers, having ITCHING EARS [of satisfaction…]; and they shall TURN AWAY THEIR EARS from the TRUTH, and shall be TURNED unto fables” (2 Tim. 4:3). God said that the world “…would NONE of My counsel: they DESPISED ALL My reproof. Therefore shall they EAT of the fruit of their OWN WAY, and be FILLED with their OWN DEVICES” (Proverbs 1:30-31), during the Great Tribulation. Today, there is a movement where many religionists from many denominations are substituting God’s name, Jehovah (Exodus 6:3), for “YAHWEH,” the supposed Hebrew translation. Behind the curtain of this latest “religious-craze” is found the Jehovah Witnesses CULT [devoted attachment to for, in this case, a name] who are trying to do DAMAGE-CONTROL to their image. Years ago, this cult STOPPED KNOCKING on my door when I confronted their beliefs concerning “FAITH” and the “Holy Spirit” which is contrary to the Word of God. I kindly refused their literature, and refused their invitation to discuss subjects like Hell and the Grave and the Kingdom of the 144,000. Why did I do that? God said, “Whosoever TRANSGRESSETH [to go contrary to a command], and ABIDETH NOT [to stay] in the DOCTRINE [instruction] of CHRIST [the Messiah], HATH NOT GOD…If there come ANY unto you, and BRING NOT this doctrine, RECEIVE HIM NOT into your house, neither BID HIM GOD SPEED [to be cheerful; calmly happy; be well]: for HE that biddeth him God speed is PARTAKER [to share with others] of his evil deeds” (2 John 1:9-11). Jesus said “…the WORDS THAT I SPEAK UNTO YOU [and his words are the Word of God], THEY ARE SPIRIT, and THEY ARE LIFE [that is, life eternal]” (John 6:63), but the world is REJECTING ON A MASSIVE SCALE, the words of Jesus. These “words” of the Son of God are “…QUICK [to make alive] and POWERFUL [to be spiritually active], and SHARPER [cutting deep] than any twoedged sword, PIERCING [reaching through; penetrating] even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and the joints and marrow, and is a DISCERNER OF [the ability to recognize the difference between…] the THOUGHTS [things we consider carefully] and INTENTS [true purpose] of the HEART [not the muscle in the chest, but the center of man where his thoughts, his feelings originate; his mind]” (Hebrews 4:12). Jesus is “…the LIGHT OF THE WORLD” (John 8:12), and he is “…the TRUE LIGHT [which means there are FALSE lights in the world too], which LIGHTETH EVERY MAN [both male and female] that COMETH into the world” (John 1:9), so EVERYONE is without excuse! Jesus, while sitting on the right hand of His Father, is still saying, “I am COME A LIGHT into the world, that whosoever believeth ON ME SHOULD NOT ABIDE IN DARKNESS. “And if any man HEAR MY WORDS, and believe not. I judge him not: for I CAME NOT to judge the world, but to SAVE THE WORLD. “He that REJECTETH ME, and RECEIVETH NOT MY WORDS, hath one that judgeth him: THE WORD that I have SPOKEN, the same shall JUDGE HIM IN THE LAST DAY” (John 12:46-48).
