dear diary This years christmas should be a good one. Thinking about sneaking in a few tunes with Tom Hill and the crew tomorrow night(pink guitar love). Sounds like January White and the gals have a christmas blast party well planned . Then christmas day , i have a date. I know , youre thinking, poor herod ,another date, big deal. Normally , I would think the same thing.Done plenty of that. This is kinda different for me. I am meeting her parents .Again, big deal , done plenty, yadda yadda btdt. Why the concern? Well, over the past many years, when ive gone to meet the parents , they were my age,and usually extremely concerned,angsty,or even downright beligerent until they have some time to saok me in and realize what I am about. So, I always entered the encounter in prepped and ready mode. This time my date is actually not only my age , but a smidge older.Been a looooooooooong time.Older parents. Hmmmm.Her invite was sincere , in that she said to just be myself(of course im gonna dress nice). Be my first christmas with another family since losing mom.Im remaining optimistic. And she is always beautiful,so if I need inspiration, I can look at her smile(makes me feel really good,even moreso when i am the source of it). i hope it goes perfect,cause i am really feeling her, like I havent in a bit.A new horizon for an old king. https://youtube/watch?v=Wa8dyknURyM
