didja Vybz Kartel Palmer - File Barbara Gayle, Justice Coordinator Dancehall entertainer Vybz Kartel and his five co-accused have pleaded not guilty in the Clive Lizard Williams murder trial in the Home Circuit Court. The not-guilty plea was entered this morning. The case has been adjourned until tomorrow when jury selection is expected to be completed. Nine of 12 jurors were selected today. Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, is jointly charged with fellow entertainer Shawn Campbell, popularly known as Shawn Storm, fashion designer Calvin Haye, André St John, Shane Williams and Kahira Jones. It is alleged that Williams was killed at Kartels home in Havendale, St Andrew, on August 16, 2011. It is further alleged that Williams was killed after he and another man were taken to the entertainers house to account for a lost firearm. The other man is expected to be the prosecutions main witness. Williams body has not been found. However, the police have reported that they have video and audio recordings linking Vybz Kartel and his co-defendants to the killing. Justice Lennox Campbell is presiding over the case being marshalled by lead prosecutor, Jeremy Taylor. Kartel is being represented by attorney-at-law Tom Tavares-Finson
