#discussiontime: I have seen a lot of people discussing this lately so I feel like I need to address this. Do you guys think Mona faked her death? My opinion: I love Mona and when she died it broke my heart. However we already had one fake death on the show. Having a second one would make the show feel like a soap opera and it would make me not trust the writers anymore. Unfortunately though there is evidence that does point to the fact that she might have. First off the fact that the body hasnt been found yet is suspect. Why leave the house that way then take the body and hide it? Maybe as a sign of disrespect to her? Many fans have pointed out the fainting spell Mona had and a mysterious bandaid on her arm thinking it means she gave blood and used that blood to fake her death. I always assumed that scene was because she wanted Hanna to find what was in her bag but there were probably easier ways. If that was the case that she really did give blood and use it to fake her death that points to Wren being involved. What other doctor would take her blood and give it to her? It isnt exactly common practice. Mona spent a lot of time before her death trying to turn the girls against Ali. She set everything up so that they believed that she was A. Then as soon as she has supposed proof she is killed and that evidence is gone. What if there never was anything? What if her plan was always to do it that day and telling the girls she found proof was just the way to get them there to find the blood and make it seem like that was the reason she was killed? It would naturally make them assume immediately that Ali did it and Mona knew they would probably stop at nothing to make sure Ali went down for it. If Mona faked her death this doesnt explain the scared look on her face when someone entered her room. A possible explanation for this is that Mona planned to fake her death because she knew Ali planned to have her killed. This would mean Mona was involved with someone close to Ali. That person could be Cece (but really could be anyone who was wearing a blonde wig). A lot of people thought in the summer finale that it looked like two different people were in Monas house that day. Well what if one was Cece and one was Ali? Ali could have gone there to gloat and then left Cece there to do her dirty work. Then Cece and Mona could have carried out the plan to fake her death. Ali looked quite smug outside Monas house during the police press conference but I really just dont see her doing the deed herself and I dont think she would be strong enough to be attacking Mona like that person was in the video. Mona clearly played to the camera that was in the vent in her house. But my problem with it is, if Mona knew that the camera was there shouldnt she have been doing everything in her power to make sure the persons face could be seen? Rip the hood off? Grab the hair move it out of the face? Scream the name over and over again? If they were wearing a mask get it off of them? That should have been her first thought, but it wasnt. Which makes me think that she didnt want their face seen. That way all that was seen is blonde hair making it possible that it was Ali and she knew Ali had been at her house so she wouldnt have a real alibi. A Mona doll was put in place of baby Jesus at Emilys house. The new A said it themselves, Mona is the one who plays with dolls. Seems like a very Mona thing to do. So what do you guys think? Like I said I dont want her to be alive because we saw a body an the writers would have a hard time trying to explain that but I wouldnt put it past them anymore.
