do this one small thing to improve your life this winter!! Walk out of your house holding a trash bag & locate the storm drain in the street closest to you. Remove EVERYTHING in and around it (yup, the leaves and grass as well as the trash) and dispose of it. Dont push the yuck down the drain!! that will just make it worse. Now take a picture so you to locate it when its covered in snow. When the snow/ice comes, after youve cleared your sidewalk, go to that drain and clear it of ice and snow so that melted water can run into it easily. Now go home and gloat when your block isnt a skating rink!!
