do we have the WILL to do something like this or better in Birmingham ??? -- it really is time that we stop complaining and do something -- there is so much more that goes into helping than the quick fix of a meal -- beds and more beds -- mental health -- Doctors -- addiction counseling -- stocked clothes closets -- healthy food -- legal counseling -- etc ---------- i believe we are a good people that care -- i believe that a NEW Firehouse Shelter could be that place -- if you dont know it the Firehouse Shelter takes all -- the intoxicated, the folks that are off their meds, the chronic homeless, the rule benders -- they also take the folks that want to change and make a life for themselves -- we need the Firehouse Shelter -- we need a new Firehouse Shelter -- we need a new Firehouse Shelter that could be the beacon of hope for our brothers
