don`t know what the credo was for the guitar piece but there`s a ballad from the Oxford book of ballads called The Gardener the words of which go ..the gardener sat by his bower door, with a primrose in his hand, when by there came a lovely maid.. as slender as a willow wand... I wrote an acoustic guitar arrangement for it at one stage...Vimeo has sighted this picture of Dannii for my video but it`s the picture of Anne with her hair outstretched which was what stimulated the association with the title... https://vimeo/111628335
