dota2/international/compendium/ The most prestigious DOTA2 tornament is almost here with the record breaking prize pool of 10 million dollar!! largest e-sport prize pool in the history!! i am super hype for this and hope Malaysia too will recognize e-sport as a normal competitive sport just like football..i am more hype up about this tournament than FIFA World Cup!!! hahahaha! South East Asia once was the world leader of DotA with Malaysia as the fore front of SEA DotA superpower and even Valve recognize South East Asia as one of the Big 4 DOTA2 continent! China, Europe, USA and SEA...soon Korea will join the the Big 4 and start their E-sport world domination. but as all Malaysia player know now..SEA DOTA2 influence is collapsing with the old player unable to compete at international level and lack of young talent that have the courage and will to put all their effort into DOTA2 as SEA government and their parent are still not recognize E-sport as a normal job or sport. well let me talk about my DotA journey before the start of DOTA2 TI4, i love playing games since the first day i know about computer games..the first game i played is Chips Challenge in windows 98 if anyone still remember..from then on i cant stop loving games that require strategy and complex for normal people to understand...from then on i played age of empire, battle realms, pokemon, civilization, warcraft and dawn of war...that until i met DotA. when i at matric and my dad bought me my own laptop...a friend of mine introduce me DotA while i was playing warcraft..its the first game i not able to understand in one day when i start play it...its complexity...game mechanics and the method to win game is beyond any games i played able to achieve.i then start to hook into DotA and analyze everything about it..from item mechanics..hero mechanics to the game map, creep and neutral creep... the first hero i played was two hero!! lol i learn 2 hero in one day...that is Lone Druid and Zeus.. i can only say the only way to fully enjoy the game is play against your opponent face to face...the feeling of looking your opponent face when they know theyre going to lose the game is nothing i felt before...from then on i cant stop wanting to play even more...even my first month start playing DotA..i already start challenging my roomate who is way experienced than me...and then on that is the start of my competitive DotA journey..in less than 4 months i start playing i was able to challenge who they call the best player in labuan matriculation...but sadly..in the mid of the game my laptop gave up...he cant handle my passion to achieve perfection of my skill and knowledge in DotA..thus i cant settle the score completely with the person who they called the best..but truthfully i have all the confidence to win him as the knowledge i know about every hero and game able to match his experience and skill in DotA..but because of this i was unable to continue to university but at the same time i not failed my exam completely..but i failed my family...because of my passion and love for the game i broke my family heart for not able to graduate into university...the price to master the game completely in just short period of time is too sad...so i decided to give up my passion of my game and take the second chance to graduate to university...my 2nd year at matriculation...everyone called me a genius or something for i able to get all subject almost full mark...but i feel empty as these result do not satisfy me...its too easy...you read...you understand..no matter how hard the question is as long the question is based on the basic of what you understand..you surely can get top mark...i am bored...its too easy for me...but i must do it to correct my mistake to my family... but just like old saying...old habits die hard...after the 2nd month of my 2nd year matriculation...i met my old DotA pal...they persuade me to play DotA again...i reluctantly reject them...but the next week they came again and told me a DotA tournament will be held in Matriculation soon...and they need one more player to have a full 5 man roster...my heart was divided...should i take a risk and play DotA again? or completely reject them and unable to test my skill against other in a competitive level...(PART 1 END! To Be Continued...)
