driving home from Port McNeill tonight Logan & I see this truck on the highway just outside of McNeill off to the side... as we approach there is a Eagle behind the truck... well we turn around and see if everything is alright... Well according to the driver of the truck the eagle hit him... we offer assistance and as we get out of our car the truck pulls away and leaves the injured eagle with us... What a guy... WAIT it gets better.. We check out the eagle and sure enuff the wing is broken... so we get to work looking to see if we have anything we could use to catch him... well we dont... so we head back to McNeill due to Bum cell reception and low battery life... we make some calls and get shuffle from emergency number to emergency number at one of these numbers I am asked do you have welders gloves and a big net you can catch him and bring him to the vet in Hardy.... No to those questions and solutions due to lack of supplies so back to be telephone shuffled... only to end up with voicemail so I have left messages all over the flippin place... Bottom Line.. There is an injured eagle on the side of the highway hiding in a ditch waiting for the offices to open at 8 am to get any assistance... Could any one say piss and spitting eagle feathers at this moment... waiting on a call for my eagle friend to be rescued...
