during the UPMUN conference, I was representing the Democratic Republic of Congo and I learned a lot of things from other delegates upon writing a reso on good governance in African states. Out of nowhere, my co-delegates said that women were treated differently in the African continent - in all aspects. Its unfortunate to hear such things happening to the girls, like us, in Africa. How I wish they could be like us, girls, here in the Philippines who are highly encouraged to go to school and learn.
